For the last couple of years, we have brought the family to Sheffield Arena to see Disney on Ice. Last year, Millie was less than a year old, so to her it didn't mean a great deal, just lots of flashing coloured lights.

So this year we were really looking forward to it, we knew Olivia would enjoy it as she knows all the characters, and can tell us who they all are, and with Millie only a couple of months from her second birthday, some of it would now start to make some sense.
We met up in the IKEA car park so that we could travel in together, as I had the parking tickets on my phone. By around 10am, we were in the arena and already sitting in our seats, waiting for the show to start at 10:30am. Of course, the girls had both chosen a stuffed toy from the stall inside. Olivia had gone for Angel from Lilo and Stitch, and Millie had gone for Minnie Mouse, as she is someone she is familiar with.

The show itself is close to 2 hours long, with a break in the middle, so you get plenty of 'bang for your buck. ' It's well worth it, and just seeing the enjoyment on the girls' faces makes it all worth it. Olivia was as involved as usual, and Millie joined in where she could.
We left around 12:30pm, a great morning was had by all.
