It was another first for me, Panto in the Park. Donna had found out a while ago that The Little Mermaid would be on at Clumber Park, so I arranged to take a Friday off and we booked tickets for the six of us.
Fortunately, the weather gods were very kind to us and it was glorious weather. Not too hot (we know we don't like the hot weather), but nice enough to be able to sit out on the grass without having to worry about wearing coats! Unfortunately, however, Sophie and Millie couldn't come as Millie wasn't sleeping so they both needed some rest.
It was a great little fenced-off 'arena' they had created not far from the church in Clumber. A perfect place for what was a quite funny show, and of course Olivia loved it. After the show had ended, Donna took her down to meet the cast, she really loved that. We had an ice-cream and a drink before heading back, it had been a successful Friday afternoon.
