A good few weeks ago Donna was surfing the internet and noticed that White Post Farm down near Newark, was doing a Christmas event. And as we now have a young lady in the family, it would be great to take her there.
So we booked the visit, four adults and one child, and all looked forward to the day.
Our booking for the actual Father Christmas tour was for 3:50pm, so we arranged to get there and meet up with Jake, Sophie and Olivia at about 2:30pm. In hindsight, we could have gone a lot earlier as there is so much there to see outside of the Christmas event.

When they arrived to meet us, they realised that they had forgotten a coat for Olivia, but luckily 'lost property' at the farm came to the rescue. A lovely warm black coat, which really suited Olivia.
We spent some time looking around the other animals, and Olivia loved it, she is so confident now, petting goats and sheep without having to be encouraged. At 3:40pm we needed to be at the meeting point, and soon it was time to enter.
The attraction was really good, with multiple characters along the way, telling stories and getting the kids, and parents, to join in. And of course, Olivia took part, enjoying every minute of it.

When it was time to go into Santa's Grotto, Olivia was there sitting at the front, in awe of the man with the big white beard. After all the kids had been asked what they wanted for Christmas, and photos had been taken with the 'big man', we went through another door where the kids were able to pick a soft toy of their choice before we were all treated to a hot drink and a treat.
It was a delightful few hours, one we intend to repeat next year.
