Not much to write about today...
It was windy and wet into the afternoon, so the car never moved, no point in going somewhere just to get soaked. That said, after going in the hot-tub in the rain, I did walk to the local shop.....and got soaked. Nice to walk in the rain though, and I was the only person on the high street when I got there, I wonder why?
I read the newspaper when I got back, then after lunch when the rain had stopped I headed down to the bay for an hour, it was only an hour after high-tide so just right to hear the bell on the beach ringing. Not that you would mix it up with church bells though, it ain't that loud! Nice though just walk around the bay when it is quiet.
When I got back, it was into the hot-tub again, for another hour soaking and letting the world pass me by. This time though, I didn't put the jets on which enabled me to listen to the radio which was a bonus. The problem I find however when you come out of the tub, is that you are so warm that you need to go into the open air just to cool down. Half an hour outside with a cuppa and a biscuit did the job.
After bacon sandwiches for tea, no plans, so we chilled out for the evening. And of course, another dip in the tub would be on the menu.
