There can never be a trip to the Yorkshire Coast without a visit to Scarborough, apparently, it is the law!
So off 20 miles down the coast today for our customary walk along Scarborough's north and south bays. We arrived around 10:15am so by 10:30am we were on the front near Scalby Mills and heading firstly along the north bay; the quieter one for anyone that doesn't know the area.

The weather was set fine again today, as it has been for the last few days, so no expectations for hoods and umbrellas. As we walked around the headland, Donna's 'eagle eyes' spotted something in the sea, and to our surprise it was a Bottlenose Dolphin enjoying itself just jumping out of the water, a great sight to see.
Thankfully Scarborough wasn't too busy today so we managed to walk all the way down to the old swimming pool, before turning back and heading from whence we came. And of course, the Harbour Bar was a must, tea, and toast followed by their scrumptious ice-cream, with Donna having her traditional Knickerbocker Glory.

As we passed by the harbour, Donna's keen eye saw a Cormorant just sat on the harbourside, wings out and soaking up the suns rays whilst the Gulls just walked around it doing their own thing.
After around 8.5 miles of walking, we were back at the car and heading back up the coast for a cozy evening in the cottage.
