Only two days to go until Christmas, and we decided to have a small family gathering with a 'chippy tea'.
Auntie Glynis was at my mum's, she had been there for a week or two, so we invited them over for tea. We had also invited Martin and Annabel down from Pocklington, and lastly, Jake and Sophie so that Sophie could meet a few members of the family. Let's hope it didn't put her off
We had the right mix of food from our favourite chippy, Giorgio's, there was cod, kebabs, sausages, plus of course their fantastic chips and peas. A meal for for a king, if the king was a northern one!
Everyone loved Sophie, I can imagine it was a little daunting being thrown into a family event, but she has such a great personality that it was like she was already family. It helped that Martin was on form and had everyone in stitches.
