Well a week when we had expected to be in Anglesey, but ended up being on the edge of the North York Moors, just a handful of miles outside of Scarborough, but no complaints as we have had a great week.
It was our last full day, and given that the weather forecast was for rain from early afternoon, we decided to head out fairly early. Not too early though, we didn't leave the cottage until 9:30am so not exactly up with the Larks!

The plan was to head to Whitby for a couple of hours as we needed to go to pick up the jewellery that Donna has had made this week by Ebor Jetworks, always her favourite jewellers in the town as it's effectively a small 'shop cum workshop' as the proprietor sits there making the jewellery right in front of you. None of the 'shipped in' jewellery that adorns the shelves of most of the jewellers in the town.
Whilst there we took advantage of going out onto the east pier as I was keen to cross the new link bridge and onto the part of the pier that had been out of bounds for many years. Always a bonus over this side as it's much the quieter side of the harbour.

We were intending to stop off at Robin Hoods Bay on the way back, after all we missed out a couple of days ago, but, given how busy Whitby was we expected it to be the same at RHB, so detoured out into Harwood Dale before heading back to the cottage for a relaxing afternoon. And tomorrow, back home and time for me to check out my first set of photos on the new Fujifilm X-T4.
